Installers

Job Description:

Must be able to complete a full installation from terminal to customer premises.

Installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optics cable and equipment. Including fiber optics splicing and terminating. Install and activate customer premises equipment.

Conduct testing and analysis to ensure proper functioning of fiber optics systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fiber optics networks. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in the field with fiber optic equipment.

Pull Fiber through new/existing empty or occupied conduits using pull line by hand. (this work may be in drop ceilings, closets, outside in manhole systems or underground)

Tone/tag cable line and wall fishing

Install cover plates, test, and ID all outlets

Install distribution lock boxes

Reconnect all active customers and confirm all services

Be able to comprehend prints, maps, designs, and construction equipment

Operates vehicles, hand tools, power tools, ladders, signal level meters, volt meters, converters, cable locators, and other test equipment

Accurately complete all required company documentation for each assignment according to established company standards and procedures (daily vehicle inspections, productivity reports, etc.)

Stock and load truck with materials to ensure adequate supply for daily work assignments

Organize materials, tools and equipment

Complete daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks

Perform work in a safe manner and comply with all established company safety policies and procedures

Assists other team personnel in the performance of their duties when requested. May perform other duties not listed.

Qualifications:

2+ years working in fiber optics/cable or satellite preferred. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles. Familiar with low voltage systems. Strong problem-solving skills. Good ability to pay attention to details. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience with MDU a plus.


Up to $2,500 weekly with a $1,500 dollar sign on bonus for experienced technicians. Net pay 14 days.

MDU Technician

Job Description:

Pre-wire multi dwelling unit (MDU) new construction with coax or cat6 cable.

Post-wire existing, occupied (MDU) with coax or cat6 cable using existing or new route.

Terminate voice/data

Be able to comprehend prints, maps, designs, and construction equipment

Operates vehicles, hand tools, power tools, ladders, signal level meters, volt meters, converters, cable locators, and other test equipment

Accurately complete all required company documentation for each assignment according to established company standards and procedures (daily vehicle inspections, productivity reports, etc.)
